Ridgeline Excavation & Utility is a family-owned and operated construction company with over 25 years of combined experience. We are based out of Orting, WA, but work throughout the Pacific Northwest. We have experience in underground utility construction, wireless telecommunications, demolition, excavation, and a variety of other services outlined below.

Joshua Childs Adair
Josh began working in the communications construction industry in 1999
assisting in the Airtouch 1G platform roll out in the pacific northwest area. After that, he started traveling the United States growing his skillset, and assisting other customers with various wireless communications projects nationwide. It didn't take long for Nokia to take notice and draft him into their professional services group. While at Nokia, Josh assisted in launching the first AT&T
mobility GSM networks in Las Vegas, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Detroit, South Carolina, and North Carolina. He was called on and was a first-responder post-hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, where he helped lead restoration efforts to regain communications across the state. He also assisted in customer training, where he trained local technicians to work on their new network.
After over ten years on the road, Josh shifted gears and went to work for SAI in Seattle, WA, a large civil-communications company with nationwide presence. While there, he wore many hats and learned about the business side of the business. Effectively managing various civil contracts with customers as well as vendors. He also managed the company's technical services division, which consisted of six technicians implementing RF services across the PNW market. He also managed the warehouse and inventory/material management and asset tracking. After four successful years, he was recognized & offered a market project manager position by AT&T mobility. During his 9 year employment at AT&T, he assisted in the 3G UMTS roll out, 4G LTE implementation and launch, spec ops complicated projects, and assisting in the OSO mudslide relief efforts locally.
In 2016, after 20+ years of experience in the industry, Josh decided to step out on his own and started Ridgeline communications LLC. During the last 4 years, Ridgeline has had the opportunity to grow and assist our customers with whatever their project needs are – from utility installation to full site development, Ridgeline has the experience and people to make it a success.
